Job Summary
Process customer account transactions and services, including sales of official checks, traveler's checks, and deposits. Verify amounts, examine checks for proper endorsement, and enter deposits, payments, and holds into computer records. Assist in the bank-by-mail function, balance cash drawers, and reconcile discrepancies. Ensure the teller station is stocked with forms and supplies. Cross-sell financial institution services and count, check, and package coins and currency. Check night depository bags and record information on forms.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years of teller experience
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Computer skills
- Ability to operate standard office equipment such as adding machines and typewriters
