Job Summary
Process member transactions and requests accurately and timely; greet members with a friendly demeanor; meet sales and service goals; refer members to appropriate staff for sales opportunities; adhere to cash, key and dual control policies; ensure security procedures and BSA/AML compliance; may back up Personal Financial Assistant and assist with branch balancing, opening/closing, check scanning, night depository, and ATM processes; provide knowledgeable guidance on products and services, maintain strong product knowledge, and deliver exceptional member service while upholding policies; occasional Saturday, Sunday, and evening shifts may be required to support branch operations and community relations.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is desired
- Teller I: Previous sales, member service, and cash handling experience in a financial institution is preferred
- Teller II: 1 year experience in a financial institution as a teller plus proven successful performance in sales, member service and cash handling
- Teller III: 3 years experience in a financial institution as a teller plus proven successful performance in sales, member service and cash handling
