Job Summary
Teller I at BVSCU assists members with financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and issuance of negotiable items (money orders, cashier's checks, gift cards). The role processes transfers and wire requests, identifies member needs for BVSCU products and services, balances cash drawer daily, and maintains security of the cash drawer. Maintains working knowledge of regulatory compliance (BSA, OFAC, USA Patriot Act, Red Flags, Regulation CC, Regulation D, Regulation E, Truth in Savings, Truth in Lending, Privacy). Provides friendly, confidential member service and supports colleagues as needed. Requires on-site work at the Rosenberg, TX location; proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to sit/stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds; must be bondable.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum six months cash handling experience or customer service experience required.
- A high school education or GED required.
