Job Summary
Conduct debits and credits to customer accounts, verify endorsements and identification, and identify counterfeit currency. Answer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories, while admitting customers to safe deposit box vaults and assisting with entry. Accept loan payments, verify amounts, apply funds to correct accounts, and issue receipts as needed. Maintain logs for cashier's checks, cash, money orders, and CTRs, and cross-sell bank products and services. Complete required training, comply with all bank policies and BSA/AML regulations, and report suspicious activity to the BSA officer. Work Monday through Friday with rotating Saturday mornings in a daytime schedule at the Paris, IL branch.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required unless enrolled in high school
- Reliable transportation required
- Desire to learn new technologies as well as influence, educate, and connect customers to technology
- Excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and accuracy required
- Must demonstrate ability to make personal connections, engage customers, and remain courteous and professional in a team environment
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality required
- Customer service: Minimum 1 year Required (e.g. Retail, Sales, Financial Services)
- Minimum 1 year office setting experience required
