Job Summary
Process deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments while cashing checks, verifying endorsements, and operating the online teller terminal. Balance cash daily, resolve discrepancies promptly, and maintain accurate records and reports. Sell traveler's checks, money orders, and other bank products to strengthen client relationships. Perform night drop functions and related clerical duties as assigned, ensuring work areas remain clean and secure. Adhere to compliance requirements and maintain professional business relations with clients and area personnel.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least one year of related experience/cash handling
- Previous Teller experience
- Understanding of Bank operations

- Ability to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information
- Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together
- Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery
- Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 to 25 lbs. of force occasionally
- No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables
- Ability to perform basic math skills, use decimals to compute ratios, percentages, and to draw and interpret graphs
- Ability to use passive vocabulary of 5,000-6,000 words; read at a slow rate; And define unfamiliar words in dictionaries for meaning, spelling, and pronunciation
- Ability to write complex sentences, using proper punctuation, and using adjectives and adverbs
- Ability to communicate in complex sentences, using normal word order with present and past tenses and good vocabulary
- 40 hours per week
Desired Qualifications
