Job Summary
Process teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and monetary instrument purchases while adhering to operational protocols for drawer and vault balancing. Assist with vault balancing, document scanning, and cash ordering for armored car delivery. Participate in branch opening and closing procedures following dual control protocols and stay current on fraud prevention and regulatory training. Work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:15pm with occasional Saturday shifts in the Main Branch or other Ottawa locations. Represent the Bank at community events and provide personalized service to clients.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Available to work Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:15pm
- Available for occasional Saturdays from 8:30am to 12:15pm
- Flexible and enjoy working with a variety of colleagues and clients
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs (implied by vault balancing and cash handling duties)
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others (implied by 'Strong collaborator' and team context)
- Must be able to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks (implied by multiple operational duties)
Desired Qualifications
- At least one-year prior Bank Teller experience
- 2+ years of higher-order customer service experience, which includes cash handling and balancing and client problem-solving
- Excellent face-to-face client servicing skills, including both verbal and written skills
- Solid math aptitude and counting skills
- High level of dependability, reliability, and flexibility
- Strong collaborator
