Job Summary
Conduct transactions with speed and accuracy while safeguarding bank assets and promoting products. Assist with balancing vaults, ATMs, and coin machines; scan documents, process deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, and set up teller stations. Exercise judgment on holds and check cashing decisions while maintaining a professional attitude and stocking the teller area. Cross train to open basic new consumer accounts and complete required compliance training. May be required to float between branch locations and adhere to a flexible work schedule. This role requires a personal or business vehicle and involves lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to four years high school or GED
- 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training
- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers
- Ability to perform these mathematical skills using money and other forms of measurement
- Ability to use common sense understanding in order to carry out simple multi-step instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with limited variables
- Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines
- Must be available to float between work locations as needed
- Must be flexible in availability for work schedule
- This position requires the use of a personal or business vehicle
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
