Job Summary
Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service while handling customer banking matters, including cashing checks, processing deposits and withdrawals, and executing wire transfers. Perform teller opening and closing procedures to ensure stations are readied daily. Greet customers in person or on the phone, properly identify each customer in accordance with policy, and maintain responsibility for cash drawer balancing. Assist with debit card maintenance, account changes, and cross-selling products to deepen customer relationships. Maintain basic knowledge of bank policies, systems, and regulatory standards while adhering to security and audit procedures. Actively participate in necessary training sessions and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- proficient spoken and written English language skills
- cash handling, general math, and computer skills
