Job Summary
Balance currency, coin, and checks in the cash drawer at end-of-shift and calculate daily transactions. Accurately process customer transactions including cash back, deposits, loan payments, and mail deposits while following established bank policies. Prepare and verify cashier's checks, money orders, and disbursements checks. Balance the vault, order currency, and sell coins. Assist with monthly and quarterly branch audits of cash drawers, the vault, and key inventory. Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided during all interactions and identify customer needs to recommend appropriate products. Follow procedures in the teller manual, including opening and closing check lists.
