Job Summary

Teller at First Commonwealth with a focus on protecting customer privacy, processing daily transactions and cash handling, growing and deepening consumer relationships, and developing personal and product knowledge through pathways programs. Responsibilities include compliance and security, proactive customer conversations, outbound service activities, cross-selling, and ongoing personal development to support the Customer Experience and Sales initiatives. The role emphasizes relationship-building, accuracy in transactions, risk mitigation, and leveraging digital banking products to empower customers. Must maintain high standards of conduct and integrity, and be willing to travel regionally. High school diploma or equivalent and prior client-centric sales experience are required. Locality: Pittsburgh, PA; On-site remote option.

Required Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) or more years of relevant experience in a client-centric sales environment with a proven track record of exceeding assigned goals, delivering a high level of client service and adhering to operational expectations
  • Excellent communications skills, passionate about helping others, motivated to learn, solutions-based sales skills, professionalism, resourcefulness, exceptional relationship-building skills, ability to excel in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Technologically savvy (i.e., Microsoft Office, Internet, mobile technology, bank systems)
  • A valid driver’s license and ability/willingness to travel regionally
