Job Summary
Teller at Credit Union of Texas responsible for accurately processing member transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing, money orders, cashier's checks) while delivering exceptional service. Identify member needs through conversation, recommend CUTX products, and contribute to branch sales/service goals. Maintain compliance with BSA/AML, OFAC, Regulation CC, CIP, and CUTX privacy/security policies. On-site at the Dallas branch, balance cash drawer daily, greet members, handle inquiries, provide product information, refer to specialists as needed, and participate in AI-assisted workflows with a focus on accuracy and member satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Minimum six (6) months of similar or related experience (cash handling, retail, customer service, or financial services)
- Prior teller, cashier, or financial services experience preferred
- Prior credit union or community bank experience preferred
- Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
