Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to members by receiving cash and checks for deposit, processing loan and credit card payments, and making transactions between accounts. Handle disbursement of cashier's checks, money orders, and gift cards while identifying non-negotiable or fraudulent checks to prevent losses. Balance and close the cash drawer daily, place proper holds on deposited items per policy, and promote cross-selling of credit union products. Work flexible, life-friendly hours including rotating Saturday mornings, with full training provided for banking expertise.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of cash handling experience
- Excellent listening ability and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and web-based software packages
