Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to members by receiving cash and checks for deposit, cashing checks, and processing loan and credit card payments. Execute transactions between accounts as instructed, place holds on deposited items per policy, and handle disbursements for cashier's checks, money orders, and gift cards. Identify non-negotiable and fraudulent checks to prevent losses, then accurately balance and close the cash drawer daily. Promote and cross-sell credit union products to fulfill member financial needs. This role supports Community First's mission as a member-owned credit union, offering life-friendly hours with a rotating Saturday morning shift.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of cash handling experience
- Excellent listening ability and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and web-based software packages
