Job Summary
Provide quality customer service by answering questions, building relationships, and making recommendations based on competitive banking options. Process transactions accurately while maintaining vigilance for potential fraud in line with current regulations and bank policies. Complete 90-day training to become proficient in all relevant banking systems and retail products. Maintain impeccable dependability across scheduled shifts, including Monday–Friday 8:30–5:15 pm and two Saturdays per month from 8:30–12:15 pm. Work 40 hours initially before transitioning to a part-time schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or high school equivalency
- Valid Driver's License & reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with a PC and associated programs (such as Microsoft Office)
- Strong customer service/sales experience
- Cash handling skills
- Availability to complete the 90-day Teller training program in its entirety
- Impeccable dependability in regards all scheduled shifts
- Ability to make qualified customer referrals as part of the Retail Referral program
- Capability to become proficient in all relevant banking systems as well as retail banking products
- Capability to make minimal errors with regard to all transactions processed
- Ability to abide by current regulations, bank policies and procedures
- Capability to keep an eye out for potential fraud
