Job Summary
Process member transactions accurately, including deposits, transfers, and withdrawals, while maintaining daily cash and balancing vault limits. Respond to member inquiries, resolve issues, and cross-sell credit union products based on member needs. Assist with opening and closing branch procedures, including Saturday availability, while adhering to operational controls and regulatory procedures. Maintain fluency in English and Spanish to serve Spanish-speaking members and ensure all interactions align with C.A.R.E. 4 standards. Work flexible part-time hours Monday through Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 6+ months cash handling experience in Retail/Service industry.
- 6+ months experience in Member/Customer service.
- Bilingual with fluency in English and Spanish to serve our Spanish speaking Members while conducting their banking business.
- Must be able to work in a team environment with the ability to interact well, and in a positive manner, with co-workers and management.
- Must be able to work a varied work schedule including every scheduled Saturday.
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of savings and checking products, accounts, and services.
- Working knowledge in all applicable MS Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
- Good verbal and written communication skills in person and over the phone including very good active listening skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing high quality service to our Members and working as a team player.
- Ability to use knowledge of products, services, and branch operations.
