Job Summary
Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash advances while balancing daily transactions and verifying cash totals. Open and close accounts, handle bookkeeping, and resolve complex member transactions independently or by referral. Cross-sell credit union services and digital products including online banking, mobile deposit, and bill pay to meet sales baselines. Assist members via phone, mail, text, email, and self-serve channels, while maintaining privacy and adhering to safety and security procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Solid math skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to operate related computer software, and other business equipment including 10-key, currency and coin counters, cash machines, self-assist machines, video, iPad and telephone
- Professional appearance, dress, and attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or other similar financial institution work experience
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to assist others
- Ability to successfully recognize and offer sales opportunities
