Job Summary
Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash advances while balancing daily transactions and verifying cash totals. Cross-sell Credit Union services and digital solutions including online and mobile banking to meet sales baselines. Assist members with account openings, closures, and complex transactions across phone, mail, and self-serve channels. Resolve discrepancies, manage risk assessments, and provide guidance to other tellers as required. Maintain privacy of member information and adhere to safety and security procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Solid math skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to operate related computer software, and other business equipment including 10-key, currency and coin counters, cash machines, self-assist machines, video, iPad and telephone
Desired Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or other similar financial institution work experience
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to assist others
- Ability to successfully recognize and offer sales opportunities
