Job Summary
Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, and routine transactions while verifying checks, endorsements, and proper identification. Balance your cash drawer daily and support branch operations to ensure compliance with regulations. Answer customer inquiries in person and by phone, maintaining confidentiality and referring clients to specialized services. This role requires standing and walking the majority of the shift at the teller line and drive-up, with occasional rotating Saturday mornings. You will serve as a representative of the organization at appropriate functions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service and cash-handling experience
- Must be able to stand and walk the majority of the work shift hours
- Must be able to grasp and lift up to 40 pounds infrequently
- Bending, stooping about 5-10% of the workday
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of bank products, services, and various federal regulations
- Proficiency with computer and comfort learning new systems
