Job Summary
The Television Broadcast Technician is responsible for maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting technical equipment used in television production and broadcasting. Key responsibilities include setting up and testing broadcast equipment, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and operating control room equipment during live broadcasts. The technician will collaborate with production teams to implement technical solutions and ensure compliance with industry standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge of broadcast equipment, proficiency with broadcast software, and the ability to respond to urgent technical issues under time pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Technology, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Valid driver’s license
