Teletriage Nurse - Expression of Interest

Job Summary
Provide telephone and chat-based triage to assess medical and mental health concerns, determine urgency, and make appropriate referrals while performing follow-ups. Operates within Sonder’s 24/7 support centre under Medical Director and Clinical Leadership, collaborating with mental health services and emergency services, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to arrange care. Requires a growing, proactive approach, excellent communication, and strong assessment skills. Ideal candidate has 4+ years of nursing experience with Emergency/Triage training; Telehealth or Critical Care experience is highly desirable; current AHPRA registration; willingness to work a rotating 24/7 roster. Hybrid and flexible in-office/work-from-home arrangements available after training.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration with AHPRA without restrictions
- Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience
- Emergency and Triage trained
- Telehealth or Critical Care (ICU) is highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Comfort using technology platforms
- Willingness to work a 24/7 rotating roster
- Hybrid and flexible working environment
