Job Summary
Telephonic Nurse Practitioner (Part-Time) for remote telehealth coverage in Alaska with 20 hours/week and rotating weekends/holidays. Responsibilities include providing telephonic/telehealth care to patients, coordinating care with caregivers, facilities, and providers, utilizing EMR for documentation, and delivering care for medical and behavioral health conditions. Requires active NP license, Master’s level education (MSN/DNP), ability to work 20+ hours weekly, and flexible schedule across day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts; 24/7 coverage and holiday rotation are part of the schedule. Emphasis on patient privacy, quality documentation, care coordination, and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team; strong communication and independent working capability expected.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted license in the state of residence and in Colorado; ability to obtain in other required locations
- Ability to gain a collaborative practice agreement, if applicable in your state
- Must have approval to practice autonomously or without supervision where applicable and within defined timelines (licensing board approval)
