Job Summary
Process all incoming calls from patients, staff, and the public with accuracy and courtesy while handling confidential information. Utilize paging systems to expeditiously manage 911 emergencies, Code Triage Disasters, and medical alerts across Phoenix and Scottsdale campuses. Search phonetically within clinical applications and update physician on-call schedules, while editing the employee directory for new hires and transfers. Navigate multiple electronic devices including Infinity Telephone Agent and various directory management tools. Maintain high concentration and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, adhering to physical requirements for computer use and repetitive motions. Works flexible hours including evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends, with potential for training new employees.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to accurately process a high rate of telephone calls over an extended period of time
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to search phonetically within various complex clinical applications inclusive of the Electronic Health Record
- Ability to navigate through multiple electronic applications and devices including Infinity Telephone Agent, On Call Supervisor, Telephone Operators Directory (TOD), Quarterly Manager, Quarterly Directory, Intelligent Series Supervisor, Red Phone, Pager Lookup, Stroke LVO Group Paging System
