Job Summary
Manage daily pharmacy operations within the Remote Dispensing Pharmacy under Pharmacist oversight, including overseeing safe and secure operations as a keyholder, protecting refrigerated products, and fulfilling prescriptions via production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows. Execute controlled substance prescription fulfillment by counting, capturing images, and maintaining inventory while completing inventory activities like cycle counts and returns-to-stocks. Deliver patient care through empathetic interactions at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone, offering immunizations and other services, and serving as a peer mentor for new hires. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding controlled substances and patient privacy. Work full-time hours with flexibility for scheduling and voluntary travel to stores, adhering to SOPs and best practices to support a high-performing team.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 18 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
- National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT)

- 1+ years full-time experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Desired Qualifications
- CVS Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT-Adv)
- Ability to become immunization certified
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Experience in an Inventory Specialist role
- Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
