Job Summary
Manage daily pharmacy operations in Remote Dispensing Pharmacy locations under Pharmacist oversight, including overseeing safe and secure operations, keyholder duties, and protecting the integrity of refrigerated and controlled substances. Execute prescription fulfillment workflows for production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off services while completing controlled substance tasks like counting, capturing images, and maintaining inventory. Deliver patient care by showing empathy during interactions, offering immunizations and point-of-care testing, and escalating patient problems. Complete inventory activities such as putting away deliveries, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks to maintain target levels. Mentor new hires onboarding and training, and comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding pharmacy practice and patient privacy.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 18 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
- National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT)

- 1+ years full-time experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Desired Qualifications
- CVS Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT-Adv)
- Ability to become immunization certified
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Experience in an Inventory Specialist role
- Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
