Job Summary
Travel Telemetry Unit Registered Nurse needed for an auto-offer assignment in Joplin, MO. Requires 24 months Telemetry Unit experience and 24 months Stepdown/ICU experience; MO license or compact license after submission; float to multiple units; local & travel allowed with local status for those within 50 miles; COVID vaccination required after submission; 12-month gap requirements between certain HealthTrust Program placements; pre-employment modules may be required; must be competent with insulin gtts, Precedex, titrating nitroglycerin, Cardizem, and BiPAP; unit details include post-cardiac cath, atrial fibrillation, CHF, stable MI, pacemaker insertions, general medical overflow; flexible scheduling with 36 or 48 hours per week; 13-week expected length; auto-offer with quick decision window; shift type Day with 12-hour shifts, weekends as required; references and certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS) required.
Required Qualifications
- MO license or compact license (required after submission)
- 24 months Telemetry Unit experience
- 24 months of experience with 3 months in last 12 months
- 3 months of Epic experience preferred
- COVID vaccination after submission
- Floating to multiple units
- 12 months gap between HealthTrust Program - Mercy MO placements
- 2+ years Stepdown or ICU experience
- Competent with insulin gtts, Precedex, titrating nitroglycerin, Cardizem, and BiPAP
