Job Summary
Monitor ECG rhythms on adolescent, adult, and geriatric telemetry patients 24/7, managing CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMIs, sepsis, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, COPD, and post-procedure cases including pacemakers and cath lab procedures. Assist with transport, admit/discharge tasks, IV and Foley insertion, and ADLs while administering limited cardiac medications like Cardizem, Lasix, and Nitro. No call required with a 12-hour night shift schedule; floating to ICU, medical-surgical units, and Renown South Meadows is permitted. Requires Nevada license, 24 months of telemetry experience, and BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience
- 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience
- 3 months of travel experience within the last 12 months
- Nevada license
- COVID vaccination
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- Charge/Lead references from within the last 2 years
- Proof of identification
- Live >60 miles from facility
