Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2290 per week.

Job Summary
Conduct night telemetry coverage from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, interpreting EKG strips, titrating drips like Cardizem and heparin, and managing patients with MI, CHF, A-fib, and pacemakers. Manage nurse-patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6 while utilizing Phillips monitors and CPAP/BiPAP for home-regimen patients. Work every other weekend shifts with holiday rotation, including Memorial Day and Christmas Eve, and float to additional general medical units as needed. Maintain Illinois licensure, hold ACLS and BLS certifications, and provide two charge/lead references from the specialty. Submit to the Medical Solutions Plus Program with a 12-month gap and no current placement.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years
- Illinois license
- EKG/telemetry strip interpretation
- medication titration
- At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
- Driver's license
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Local & travel allowed
- Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local
- 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare

- Pre-employment modules may be required
- Every other weekend
- nights work Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday

- Float to other general medical units
- 14 days maximum time off
