Job Summary
Conduct cardiac patient care on telemetry units, managing patients of all ages with a focus on acute and stepdown needs. Provide coverage during 12-hour night shifts running from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, rotating every other weekend and holiday. Float to medical-surgical and remote telemetry units as required, while maintaining a no-call schedule. Maintain a Pennsylvania or compact license and hold current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Submit only if residing more than 50 miles from the facility and completing required pre-employment modules.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months
- 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years)
- 12 months of acute care experience
- 1-2+ years Tele/Stepdown experience
- Pennsylvania license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Tenor Health
- 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: HealthTrust Program - Tenor Health
- 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Tenor Health
- Driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
- Must be able to float to additional units and locations
- Must live >50 miles from facility
- Must be available for every other weekend and every other holiday
- Must be available for no call
- Must be available for 7 days maximum time off
- Must be able to block schedule
