Job Summary
Unit Secretary/Telemetry Tech provides nursing staff with clerical and telemetry monitoring support to facilitate patient care. Responsible for collecting and reporting information to the supervising RN and completing patient care-related documentation while supporting telemetry monitoring and related duties. Part-time night shifts with a focus on accurate data entry, rhythm recognition, and coordination with the nursing team to ensure smooth patient flow and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a CNA program, or Completion of first semester nursing program, or EMT program completion for hires to Emergency Services
- Successful completion of dysrhythmia course AND ability to pass rhythm recognition exam test (for hires after 9/2018)
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Experience with basic data entry
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of acute patient care experience
- Telemetry tech experience
- CNA/EMT/Military/Corpsman training or completion of first semester nursing program
- BLS from American Heart Association
