Telemetry Technician

Telemetry Technician responsible for continuous surveillance of cardiac monitors, immediately alerting nursing staff of changes in tracings; observes and interprets cardiac rhythms, communicates with the care team, and documents within scope at defined intervals. Duties include admitting/discharging/transferring patients into monitoring, coordinating monitoring parameters with primary RN, interpreting/labeling baseline rhythms using integrated technology, recording physiological measurements (including six-second strip), documenting actions in patient records, ensuring smooth handoffs between care teams, and maintaining/troubleshooting monitoring equipment with professional, courteous team conduct.
