Job Summary
Attach electrode lead lines to proper body areas, prepare skin for valid results, and obtain ECG readings as directed. Perform continual surveillance of multiple monitors to identify significant arrhythmias, patient distress, and artifacts, intervening appropriately and editing results for physician analysis. Maintain ECG equipment and supplies while adhering to all regulatory standards and accreditation guidelines. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Successful completion of ECG interpretation coursework
- CPR – Basic Life Support
- Must adhere to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program
- Must comply with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards
