Telemetry Tech

Telemetry Tech monitors patients on telemetry, notifies the primary nurse of cardiac changes, and ensures telemetry strips are uploaded into the patient EMR at end of shift. Maintains organized rooms, responds to urgent situations, operates equipment safely, adheres to Fall Precautions and Infection Prevention Protocols, communicates clearly with charge nurses, physicians, and coworkers, and supports patient care through monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with the ICU/PCU team. Performs duties across patient care tasks, supports staff meetings and in-services, preserves patient privacy per HIPAA, and follows organizational policies and AIDET and related procedures.
