Monitor patients on telemetry, accurately record ECG changes, and report critical developments to appropriate personnel. Troubleshoot equipment issues, ensure all patients are connected to the central monitor, and promptly respond to alarms per department policy. Document all communication to caregivers, file EKG reports, and maintain organized patient charts. Recognize and notify the RN immediately when a life-threatening arrhythmia occurs. Maintain inventory, clean transmitters, and address malfunctioning equipment to uphold cardiac monitoring standards.
