Job Summary
Telemedicine Psychiatrist needed for part-time locum in a residential treatment facility in Vermont. Provide telehealth psychiatric evaluations and medication management for young adults with substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders. Day-shift schedule totaling 12 hours per week with prescriptive authority required. Clinician will deliver services via telehealth to a residential facility with an average census of 10 patients and a caseload of about 5 patients per day. Setting focuses on transition to independent living, anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, and other related mental health conditions. Regional location involves Vermont with remote telehealth delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification Required: Yes
- Prescriptive authority required
- Telehealth/telemedicine experience
- Experience in substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders (preferred)
- Ability to conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage medications
- Part-time availability (12 hours/week)
- Residential treatment setting experience (preferred)
- Caseload management (approx. 5 patients/day)
- Comfort delivering care via telehealth to an adult population (young adults) during day shifts
