Job Summary
Provide dedicated virtual medical care to patients via telemedicine, with responsibilities including patient assessments, medical history reviews, appropriate treatment decisions, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications (buprenorphine for opioid addiction allowed; not prescribing controlled substances otherwise), and maintaining medical documentation. Collaborate with a support team to ensure comprehensive care, stay current with telehealth best practices, and adapt to mostly virtual services with possible in-person hybrid opportunities. Requires active multi-state medical licensure, DEA certification, ability to schedule 15 core hours weekly across four days, proficiency with telemedicine platforms and EMRs, and a commitment to high-quality patient care. Compensation discussed on a per-consult basis with robust earnings potential, malpractice insurance provided, and onboarding includes licensure support and 1099 arrangements. Locations currently include Ridgecrest, FL (remote/hybrid opportunities noted).
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states and willingness to obtain additional licenses (assistance and costs covered)
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills and commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
