Job Summary
Telemedicine Physician needed to provide virtual patient care across multiple states with flexibility to set schedules. Role supports addiction treatment and general telehealth, with opportunities for in-person hybrid work. Responsibilities include virtual patient assessments, reviewing medical history, prescribing meds (buprenorphine allowed for opioid treatment with limitations), ordering/interpreting labs, documenting care, collaborating with a support team, and staying current with telehealth practices. Requires multi-state licensure (minimum three states, preferably five), DEA certification, CSL if required, and 15 core hours per week across four days. Compensation includes per-consult pay ($35) and potential earnings exceeding $400K annually; malpractice insurance is provided; onboarding includes applicable training; 1099 arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) and willingness to obtain additional licenses (assistance provided)
- Licensed in at least five states and/or licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM local time) across four days, with scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills and commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
