Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment, while ordering labs and prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine). Build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships and collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain medical documentation, stay current on telehealth innovations, and complete required training including buprenorphine certification. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) across four days, with assistance provided for obtaining licenses in five states. Join a network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities, supported by streamlined EMR technology and full malpractice coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
