Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Order and interpret lab tests as needed to make informed, high-quality treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance on their proper usage. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and a dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain appropriate medical documentation to support continuity of care. Stay up to date with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices. This role requires an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) and a DEA certification. Physicians must commit to 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with scheduling at least one week in advance. Compensation averages $200 per hour, with many exceeding $400K annually. QuickMD offers substantial flexibility, allowing physicians to work from anywhere without administrative burdens, focusing entirely on expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least one of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
