Job Summary
Telemedicine physician role providing virtual patient care across multiple states with licensed, multi-state requirements. Responsibilities include patient assessments, review of medical history, prescribing appropriate medications (buprenorphine for addiction treatment allowed; no DEA-controlled substances otherwise), ordering/interpreting labs, maintaining medical documentation, and collaborating with a support team. Must stay current with telehealth best practices and medical advancements. Opportunities for fully virtual work with potential in-person hybrid arrangements; strong compensation potential with substantial schedule flexibility. Location hint: New Smyrna Beach, FL, with ability to work from anywhere and support for multi-state licensing. Must hold active medical license in at least three states (preferably five) and DEA/ CSL where required; minimum of 15 hours per week scheduled across four days; 1099 contract arrangement; malpractice insurance provided; onboarding may include buprenorphine training.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in at least three U.S. states with willingness to obtain additional licenses (assistance provided)
- Active DEA certification and CSL as applicable
- Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM local time) over four days per week with advanced scheduling
- Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- Ability to work from anywhere with flexible schedule
