Job Summary
Provide immersive virtual medical care as a Telemedicine Physician for QuickMD, delivering patient assessments and treatment via telehealth with rare in-person hybrid opportunities; prescribe medications (buprenorphine for opioid treatment where allowed), order/interprete labs, maintain medical documentation, collaborate with nurses and support staff, and stay current with telemedicine best practices; requires multi-state medical licensure (minimum three states, preferably five, and willingness to obtain more), DEA and CSL where required, at least 15 core hours per week over four days (8AM-6PM local), ability to work from anywhere with flexible scheduling, and malpractice insurance coverage; compensation is performance-based (per consult with high earners exceeding six figures annually), and onboarding includes telemedicine/EMR training with potential for 1099 arrangement; location hint: McGregor, FL, US; remote/hybrid work options may be available.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) and willingness to obtain additional licenses
- Experience with telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- DEA certification and CSL (if required)
- Ability to schedule at least 15 core hours weekly across four days (8AM-6PM local)
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with telemedicine platforms/EMRs
- Comfort with buprenorphine for opioid addiction treatment (where applicable)
- Malpractice insurance coverage
- 1099 at year-end
