Job Summary

Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Order and interpret lab tests as needed to make informed, high-quality treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance on their proper usage, excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine for opioid addiction treatment. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain appropriate medical documentation to support continuity of care and stay up to date with medical advancements and telehealth innovation. Physicians must hold an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) and complete at least one week of scheduling in advance. The role requires 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with assistance provided for obtaining additional state licenses and DEA certification. Compensation averages $200 per hour for high-demand states, with many exceeding $400K annually. This position offers complete schedule flexibility, allowing physicians to work from anywhere without administrative burdens, while supporting addiction treatment efforts and improving patient outcomes in underserved communities.

Required Qualifications

  • Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
  • Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
  • Critical to be licensed in at least five states
  • Licensed in at least one of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
  • Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
  • Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
  • Work 8AM-6PM locally
  • Work over four days each week
  • Schedule at least one week in advance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to medical excellence
