Job Summary
Telemedicine Physician role offering flexible, virtual primary care and addiction-treatment support with opportunities for in-person hybrid work. Provides exceptional virtual patient care, medical history reviews, and treatment decisions, including prescribing medications with limits on controlled substances (buprenorphine for opioid addiction). Supports collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, maintains medical documentation, stays current with telehealth best practices, and works a minimum of 15 core hours weekly across four days (8AM-6PM local). Requires active medical license in multiple states (at least three, preferably five), willingness to obtain additional licenses, DEA certification, CSL as needed, and comfort with EMRs. Compensation described as substantial, with per-consult rates ($35), high hourly earnings for top physicians, and potential annual earnings over $400K for select providers. All physicians can work from anywhere with minimal administrative burden; malpractice insurance fully covered; onboarding includes applicable buprenorphine training and a 1099 at year-end. Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, preferably five
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered)
- Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM local time) over four days per week
- Strong communication skills and commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
- Physician eligibility to practice telemedicine in 44 states (as described)
