Job Summary
Virtual-telemedicine physician role with flexible scheduling and remote work options. Provide high-quality virtual care across multiple states, assess and treat patients, order tests, prescribe medications (buprenorphine for opioid treatment allowed; no C2 controlled substances except buprenorphine), maintain medical documentation, and stay current with telehealth practices. Requires active multi-state medical licenses (ideally 5 states) and DEA/CSL; includes malpractice insurance, onboarding support, and 1099 arrangement. In-person hybrid opportunities may be available; Tampa, FL location noted. Compensation includes per-consult pay ($35 per consult) with potential to exceed $400K annually in a high-demand state, with many providers earning around $200/hour on average; physicians must commit 15-20 hours/week. Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, preferably five, with willingness to obtain additional licenses
- Licensed in at least five states and/or five of CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM local time) over four days per week
- Strong communication skills
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- DEA certification and CSL (if required)
