Job Summary
Telemedicine Physician for QuickMD offering virtual care across 44 states with flexible, physician-led practice. Role involves providing high-quality virtual care, patient assessments, medical history reviews, and treatment decisions, with in-person hybrid opportunities possible. Requires multi-state medical licensure (minimum three states, preferably five) and DEA/CSL certifications. Responsibilities include documenting care, prescribing medications (buprenorphine for opioid treatment allowed, other controlled substances not prescribed), coordinating with a support staff, staying current with telehealth advancements, and maintaining effective patient relationships. Schedule is highly flexible with core hours of at least 15 per week (typically 8AM-6PM local time) across four days weekly; compensation is robust with details provided in onboarding, and all physicians are provided malpractice insurance and year-end 1099. Most services are virtual, with potential for in-person hybrid opportunities; remote work from anywhere is supported, with location specified as Briny Breezes, FL, US for administrative purposes.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, preferably five, plus willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered)
- Licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
- DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
