Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Order and interpret lab tests as needed to make informed, high-quality treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance on their proper usage, excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and a dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care while maintaining appropriate medical documentation. Stay up to date with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices. Commit at least 15-20 hours weekly, typically 8AM-6PM locally over four days, with scheduling one week in advance. Requires an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) and a DEA certification.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
