Job Summary
Telemedicine Physician at QuickMD delivering virtual care across states with addiction care focus; set your own schedule and work from anywhere with supportive infrastructure. Responsibilities include virtual patient assessments, reviewing medical history, providing treatment, prescribing medications (buprenorphine exception for opioid treatment), interpreting labs, maintaining medical documentation, collaborating with care teams, and staying updated on telehealth practices. Requires multi-state medical licensure, DEA certification, experience in telehealth or high-volume settings, strong communication, and comfort with EMR/telmedicine platforms. In-person hybrid opportunities may be available; compensation includes per-consult and potential high annual earnings; onboarding includes applicable training and malpractice insurance coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) and willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered)
- Licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, with scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills and commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
- No administrative burdens and opportunity to work from anywhere
- Malpractice insurance fully covered
- Buprenorphine training may be included as part of onboarding
- 1099 provided at year-end
- Locations include Flagler Beach, FL (telemedicine with potential in-person hybrid opportunities)
