Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform high-quality treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance on their proper usage, collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and a dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain appropriate medical documentation to support continuity of care and stay up to date with medical advancements and telehealth innovation. Commit to a schedule of at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days each week, with scheduling required one week in advance. Complete applicable training, including buprenorphine training, as part of the onboarding process.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least one of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
