Job Summary
Telemedicine Physician at QuickMD providing virtual care across 44 states with the option for in-person hybrid opportunities. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, reviewing medical histories, prescribing medications (excluding most controlled substances except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder), interpreting labs, documenting medical records, and collaborating with a support team to ensure comprehensive care. Requires active medical license in multiple states (3–5+ preferred), DEA certification with CSL if required, telehealth and EMR proficiency, and the ability to schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (four days). Flexible schedule, malpractice insurance coverage, onboarding training, and a compensation model featuring per-consult and per-hour pay, with potential annual earnings highlighted for top performers.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) and willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered)
- Licensed in at least five states and/or CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients via telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM local time), over four days per week, with at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills and commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
- DEA certification
- CSL (if required)
