Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance, noting that QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances except for buprenorphine for opioid addiction treatment. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care and maintain appropriate medical documentation. Stay up to date with medical advancements and telehealth innovation. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with assistance provided for obtaining state licenses. Join a network of experienced physicians expanding access to care in underserved communities, focusing on addiction treatment, weight management, and general telehealth services.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
