Job Summary
Telemedicine Physician role offering substantial flexibility to set own schedule and work from anywhere with focus on addiction care, weight management, and general telehealth. Responsibilities include providing exceptional virtual patient care, patient history reviews, interpreting lab tests, prescribing medications (buprenorphine allowed for opioid addiction treatment; no controlled substances otherwise), collaborating with a support team, maintaining medical documentation, and staying current with telehealth best practices. Requires active multi-state medical licensure (preferably five states), telehealth experience, ability to commit 15 core hours per week across four days, strong communication, and familiarity with telemedicine platforms and EMRs. In addition to competitive compensation (per consult with earnings benchmarks), the role can include in-person hybrid opportunities and a streamlined onboarding process with malpractice insurance and concierge support.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) with willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered)
- Licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM local time) over four days per week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills and commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
- DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
- No administrative burdens; flexible schedule; malpractice insurance provided
- 1099 provided at year-end
